This was a very interesting project. I took 2 of my previous projects and printed them out. Then, I painted 2 pictures with watercolors. After that, I spread ModgePodge on the printed pictures and put them face down on the watercolor picture. A day later, I rubbed off the paper, which was really hard on my finger. A little more rubbing the next day finished the project, and I put the best one on display.
If I could redo the project, I would put more detail in the watercolors. I thought the printed picture transferred well.

Printing Processes
Relief Process
This process does not require a press, it just needs a baren. You take a thin piece of paper, put it on a block with the design you want, rub the baren on it, and the design is transfered. You might need this skill if you can't afford a printing press, or you want a good arm workout.
- Get a pattern block.
- Get thin paper & a baren.
- Cover the design block with ink.
- Place paper over block.
- Rub baren over paper. Make sure you thoroughly go over every spot.
- Lift up paper.
This process has a design under what you're going to put it onto. You might want to use this if you want a deeper cut.
- Take a steel scribe or any similar tool.
- Use it to make lines on the surface you're putting your design on.
- Continue until you've finished your pattern.
Lithography
Lithography involves putting a design on a stone, putting grease on it, wiping off the grease, and putting it on paper. This is useful for people who like stones.
- Make your design with grease pencils on the stone.
- Apply printing ink to the stone.
- Apply gum arabic.
- Apply acidified gum arabic.
- Apply another coat of gum arabic.
- Buff the gum arabic in.
- Wash it with lithotine
- Go over the stone with both a wet and dry towel.
- Put the paper on the stone and transfer. It might take multiple prints.

Pop Art
Here under protest, ANOTHER blog post. For this assignment, we had to take pictures of a partner. Being in a group of 3, I opted out of having pictures taken of me. Nobody really inspired me that much, since most pop art artists from what I understand were morons who think modern art is actually good. Think Judy Funnie from Doug. I chose cool colors because I like those colors. The colors of the shapes in the background were chosen because they look nice together. I used the filter gallery on the subject.

Photoshop Challenge
In Graphic Design we had to photoshop a picture of a man somewhere. I thought "Hey, where's the most remote place he can be?", so I put him in the desert. Originally it was just the original photo in the desert with a camel. However, that felt too bland, so I added a turban and recolored the jacket. In retrospect the color scheme might be a little weird looking. I used masks to remove the white background and to recolor. The drop shadows are either adjustment layers or mask-related stuff. I thought it turned out pretty good. If I had to redo it I'd add one more thing and recolor the clothes.

Photoshop Basic Photo Editing
In graphic design I learned how to use tools in Photoshop. Some of them I already knew how to use.
For example, I already knew how to use the Content Aware tool, shown here.
Using the patch tool wasn't very hard either, since it's so similar to the Content Aware tool.
The clone tool does not work like the tool in Paint.net, and is unnecessarily complex, so this one was a bit harder.
Much of the same here.
This is getting redundant, isn't it?
This one had a lot more steps, but I think I did ok on it.
Next post is probably going to be more of the same, so you're probably not gonna miss much.

E9 Reflection
Our project was the iPillow. It took most of the time we had. We had problems coming up with an idea. We learned alot of stuff. Some of our ideas were already done, so I guess that's feedback. I thought we did a good job.https://youtu.be/kl1RLpEfIgI
I completed the website. I also threw the pillow in the ad. I think I edited the website some when I was done. I didn't really do anything out of e-Comm.
I'm pretty good at video editing, even if they didn't use mine. I need to work on web design. My favorite part was coming up with the product and logo design. I would change the product concept. I learned about working with others. My goal is to talk to people in groups better. My final thoughts are that this is one of my only good class so far.
